Fearing the bloody repression that was approaching, many Republicans fled the country, while others could not or did not want to, such as the young protagonists of this true story.

Things take a surreal turn when Jun, a Chinese man with no money or understanding of Spanish, is thrown out of a taxi and into Roberto’s life.
