The Balance of Opposites came about very spontaneously. The director’s friendship with Chef Javier Olleros led to this feature film on the events surrounding the closure of Olleros’s restaurant, el Culler de Pau. The film goes beyond its gastronomic aspect to dive deep into the soul of its protagonist. This is Alberto Baamonde’s second feature film that he has produced with Zinqin Audiovisual, who back independent productions and an artisanal approach to film-making.
